The brief

What the client needed.

The owners of this church-owned property on Kings Avenue contacted LJB because the roof was in very poor condition, well past the point where repairs would last. LJB inspected the roof, gave a competitive quotation and was awarded the work.

The solution

How LJB approached the work.

This was a complex roof replacement. LJB organised the scaffolding needed to reach every slope of the large multi-pitched roof safely, then stripped the entire roof. The waste was removed with care and taken away under LJB's own waste carrier's licence.

LJB managed the purchasing of the tiles and materials and brought in the right skilled roofers for each stage, keeping the standard of work high from start to finish.

The result

The finished outcome.

The property now has a sound, weathertight roof built to last, backed by LJB's minimum 10-year guarantee on every re-roof. The neighbour next door was so impressed with the work that they asked LJB to replace their roof as well.

Attention to detail on every re-roof.

What sets LJB apart from many roofing companies is the care taken over the parts nobody sees once the job is finished: the membrane, the eaves, the battens and the fixings. Every LJB re-roof comes with a minimum 10-year guarantee.

A similar roof replacement usually costs between £50,000 and £60,000, depending on the size and condition of the roof. The price is confirmed after an inspection.

  • High-quality breathable roofing membrane
