About the job.

Most of the work is on people's homes: rear and side extensions, garage conversions and porches, plus garden and boundary walls. There is also repointing and repair work on older and listed properties, some of it in flint.

You will work alongside LJB's carpenters, roofers and labourers, from setting out through to the finished wall.

What you will be doing

Brick and blockwork on home extensions, garage conversions and new builds
Garden and boundary walls in brick, block and flint
Repointing and brickwork repairs on older properties, including heritage work
Porches, piers and other small structures
Setting out, keeping work plumb and level, and leaving a tidy site

What LJB is looking for

Proven experience as a bricklayer
A CSCS card, or willing to get one
Reliable and on time, and comfortable working at people's homes
Flint work or lime mortar experience is a bonus
A full UK driving licence is helpful but not essential
