About the job.

The work runs from structural timber to the finishing touches: roofs, floor joists and stud walls on extensions and loft conversions, then doors, skirting, architrave and staircases.

LJB also fits and repairs fire doors for landlords and commercial buildings, and builds garden rooms and outbuildings.

What you will be doing

First fix: roof timbers, floor joists, stud walls and loft conversions
Second fix: doors, skirting, architrave, boxing in and staircases
Fitting and adjusting fire doors in homes and commercial buildings
Garden rooms, outbuildings and decking
Working to drawings alongside LJB's bricklayers and roofers

What LJB is looking for

Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry
Your own hand tools
A CSCS card, or willing to get one
Fire door installation experience is a bonus
A full UK driving licence is helpful but not essential
