About the job.

You will help LJB's bricklayers, carpenters and roofers keep the job moving: getting materials where they are needed, mixing, digging and clearing, and keeping the site safe and tidy.

Previous labouring experience helps, but being reliable and willing matters more. You will be working alongside experienced tradespeople every day.

Site Labourer From house extensions to church roofs, every job needs a good labourer.

What you will be doing

Moving and loading out materials, and mixing mortar and concrete
Digging footings, drainage runs and preparing driveway and patio bases
Keeping the site safe, tidy and secure, and managing waste and skips
Setting up and clearing down at the start and end of each job
Helping the trades with whatever the job needs that day

Hard-working, reliable and on time
Happy working outdoors in all weathers
A CSCS labourer card, or willing to get one
Previous labouring experience is helpful but not essential
A full UK driving licence is helpful but not essential
